14 DAY TRIAL // TRENDnet has recently released firmware version 1.00.04 for its TW100-BRF214 (Version v1.0R) 4-port, Ethernet, firewall router. This update fixes the graphical user interface issues by adding, modifying, and deleting entries in the Virtual Server, MAC Control, and URL filter sections.
To install it, first download the archive at the link below and extract it to an accessible location. Next, log into your router (default IP is 192.168.10.1) and select “Advanced Setup” in the first screen.
The configuration page will now come up and, on the left menu, under the “System” tab, click “Firmware Upgrade.”
The current firmware version installed will be displayed, as well as its release date. Hit the “Browse” button and select the “capp_TW100_BRF214_1_00_04.img” file you've just extracted. Select “Apply” and accept the warnings that come up next.
When the firmware update completes, the router will restart.
