TRENDnet's TN-200 (Version v1.0R) 2-Bay NAS media server enclosure has recently received a new driver/utility update. Version 1.0.2.0 is not joined by any release notes or hints about what changes it brings.

OS compatibility includes Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8, on both 32- and 64-bit architectures.

The key features of this device are its DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) media server which seamlessly streams HD videos to Smart TV's, for example, and its two 3.5” SATA I/II bays giving it up to 8 TB storage capacity and energy saving controls.

It also has a USB port in the back, for external storage devices.

What needs to be mentioned and praised about this device is not about the hardware, but the user interface and the functions it has. Here's the TRENDnet TN-200 (Version v1.0R) NAS interface emulator for you to experience, in case you don't own one of these devices.

Get the latest driver/utility for the TN-200 NAS, install it, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
