Just now, Sony has outed the latest firmware update developed for its PlayStation 3 gaming console, namely version 4.65, which improves the overall system stability during use of some format software that the PS3 benefits from.

If you intend to enjoy this new enhancement, you must upgrade to version 4.65 either through the PS3’s “System Update” feature or by applying the software using a removable USB storage or a CD/DVD containing the firmware file.

With this in mind, if you want to use the console’s built-in update feature, then go to Settings > System Update > Update via Internet, and the PS3 will automatically search and apply the new version. However, this method requires that the Sony console be connected to the Internet through an Ethernet cable.

If these requirements can’t be met, then download the 4.65 software using the link below, create a “PS3/UPDATE” path on a formatted USB stick, and copy the “PS3UPDAT.PUP” file in the newly created “UPDATE” folder.

Now, go to Settings > System Update > Update via Storage Media, and if the file has been transferred correctly, the PS3 should find the firmware file and automatically initiate the upgrade process.

Regardless of the update method chosen, make sure not to interrupt the installation process, as this can result in serious device malfunctions or can even render the Sony PlayStation 3 unusable.

That being said, download Sony PlayStation 3 Firmware 4.65, take into account all aforementioned aspects, apply the latest software version, and stay “updated one minute ago” by constantly checking our website for new releases.
