Again, without intending to do so, we are presenting you a "BIOS of the Day" comprising just one motherboard, with the rest of the entries being software for notebooks.

The highlight of the day is represented by the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E120 notebook, a truly nice piece of machinery powered by Intel Core i3 processor and being able to run with as much as 8 GB DDR3.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E120 sports an 11.6" HD LED display, which can be ordered in either anti-glare or glossy versions, and whose standard 6-cell battery can deliver up to 9.3 hours of operating time.

Customers can also choose the storage type: you can get a 320 GB HDD or the 128 GB SSD if speed is a critical element in their lives. No USB 3.0 ports, though, but you get a nice spill-resitant keyboard.

And here's the BIOS of the day:

ECS NFORCE6M-A (V5.0) Bios 11/04/2010 Dell XPS M1530 Notebook Bios A12 Acer Extensa 4210 Notebook BIOS 3508 HP G72-a30EM Notebook BIOS F.48 for Windows 7 Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E120 BIOS 1.14 for XP/Windows 7 HP G72-b27CL Notebook BIOS F.48 for Windows 7

As both hardware and software evolve, old BIOSes might become unstable or simply prevent you from using your computer to its full potential. Therefore it is highly recommended to always use the most recent BIOS version available.
