The present update fixes EXIF information error

Samsung has just rolled out firmware 1.15 developed for its NX300M digital camera, which fixes EXIF information error that caused improper RAW capturing, thus improving device stability and usability.

If you have been experiencing this bug and want to get rid of it, then save and extract the downloadable package, make sure your camera benefits from a fully charged battery, and initiate the upgrade only if firmware 1.14 (or earlier) is currently installed.

Assuming that you want to apply version 1.15, initialize a compatible memory card using your NX300M unit, copy firmware onto the card (.bin file format), insert it into the camera, and go to Menu → Settings → Device Information → Firmware Update → Body Firmware Update .

Here, choose “Yes” when update permission is required, and allow checking firmware so as to make sure it is the appropriate software for your camera model. If all is OK, the imaging device will automatically reboot.

After that, version 1.15 is applied in two steps, each followed by a restart, so make sure you don’t interrupt this process in any way. Doing so results into an update failure which can cause serious device malfunctions.

Last but not least, the firmware update will be successfully completed only when the camera’s LCD displays a “Body Firmware update completed” message. If you see this, then turn the device off, remove its memory card, and power it back on.

That being said, download Samsung NX300M Camera Firmware 1.15, take into account all aforementioned aspects, apply the firmware, and constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
