14 DAY TRIAL // Prestigio has just rolled out new firmware packages developed for some of its MultiPad tablets, which implement Google security patches, update Prestigio applications, improve system stability, and more.
To be clear about these releases, the producer has outed firmware 1.0.07, 1.0.09, and 2.0.08 compatible with its MultiPad Color 8.0 3G (PMT5887 3G), MultiPad Wize 5002 (PMT5002 WI), and MultiPad Thunder 8.0i 3G (PMT7787 3G) tablets, respectively.
In addition to that, Prestigio has also provided a new firmware update targeted at the MultiPad 4 DIAMOND 10.1 3G (PMP7110D3G) and MultiPad Ranger 8.0 4G (PMT5287 4G) Android devices, namely version 1.0.08.
When it comes to changes, besides the aforementioned ones, these new updates also implement SMS ETSI standard for some languages, improve OSD strings translations, and enhance incoming/outgoing call interface.
Moreover, volume control is also improved, LCD driver and APN/SPN lists get updates, and various other minor bug fixes are included.
However, bear in mind that not all changes apply to each and every Android tablet. Make sure to check the changelog of your specific device on the description page, and only afterwards decide whether your MultiPad needs a new firmware or not.
