Point of View has recently released a new firmware update for the MOBII 1325 tablet (codenamed TAB-P1325). Version 1.0.20140503 fixes the graphics reboot if battery is lower than 50% issue.

The 13.3” tablet is powered by a Dual Cortex A9, 1.6 GHz processing unit, assisted by the Mali-400 graphics processor. The system memory is a modest 1024 MB.

To update, one must first download the firmware from the link below. Take a look on the back of your tablet to make sure this update fits your tablet code.

If it does, start backing up all your data, charge the battery (it is recommended to keep the charger cable connected during the update) and plug the tablet into your PC.

Power off your tablet and go to Windows' “Device Manager.” Notice the “Unknown Device” and right-click it. Select “Update Driver Software.”

Browse the “Driver” folder of your recently downloaded file and select the corresponding OS. If you've updated the firmware before, the driver installation procedure is not necessary.

After this completes, run the RKBatchTool.exe file and browse for the firmware path. You will see a green box in the “Connected devices.” The next step is to press the “Restore” button. Wait for the process to finish and exit after it does.

The tablet will reboot and finalize the update process.

Download the firmware from the link below and stay “updated one minute ago.”
