A few moments ago, Panasonic rolled out a new firmware update developed for its Lumix CM1 smartphone - camera hybrid, namely version 11.0709, which includes general performance and functional improvements and bug fixes.

If you upgrade your device to this release, its functions frequently used during shooting (such as exposure and zoom) will be now available through the Up and Down volume buttons and the battery life will be improved specifically when using Photo Search Location info.

In addition to that, the producer’s 11.0709 update adds < and > buttons on screen in order to be able to zoom smoothly even when recording.

Moreover, with this present firmware, the Lumix CM1 will initialize functions assigned to the Control Ring only when modifying Recording Mode, instead of initializing to the default value each time.

When it comes to upgrading your device, save the downloadable archive and copy it onto a formatted microSD card, make sure your Lumix unit is fully charged, connect the memory card, and wait for it to be recognized.

Now, go to Home > Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Update from microSD, agree with all pop-up messages, and wait for the device to do its job. Upon completion, the Lumix unit will automatically turn on.

Last but not least, make sure to check the camera’s currently installed firmware to ensure the upgrade process has been successful, and don’t forget to format your memory card before using it to save any pictures.

That being said, download Panasonic DMC-CM1 Camera Firmware 11.0709, take into account all aforementioned aspects, update your device, and constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
