Today, Panasonic has rolled out a new firmware package developed for its DMC-CM1 compact camera, namely version 12.0274, which upgrades the device’s operating system to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

This new update also improves the Camera and Gallery apps by adding Timelapse recording and stored place display functions, respectively.

In addition to that, setting of Continuous AF operation in motion picture recording has been added as well, and some small bug fixes, performance enhancements, and functional improvements have also been implemented.

Still, if you intend to upgrade your camera, first of all, you should know that the device must be already running the previous Panasonic DMC-CM1 Firmware 11.0761 release. If not, make sure to apply that version before the present one.

Either way, in order to properly update your camera, save the downloadable package as provided (don’t rename/unzip it), transfer it to the “Download” folder of a microSD card (create it if not present), and insert the memory card into your Android camera.

Now, go to Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Update from microSD, and allow your device to search for the firmware file and apply it once found (should tap “Ok” twice).

That being said, download Panasonic DMC-CM1 Camera Firmware 12.0274, carefully apply it on your device, and constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
