Alongside the new Sony PlayStation 4 System Software 2.00, Sony has also updated the PlayStation TV and Vita’s firmware to version 3.35, which includes four-player Remote Play support for PlayStation TV, as well as another interesting feature.

Specifically speaking, you can adjust the Remote Play quality on the PS TV system in order to match your network performance. To do so, simply go to PS4 Link > Start > Options > Settings > Video Quality for Remote Play.

Moreover, the present release also includes a new “Live From PlayStation” application for both PS Vita and PS TV, which allows these two devices to display live gameplay streams from PS4 systems.

However, bear in mind that in order to make use of this feature, the PlayStation 4 system must be powered at least by firmware 1.70, if not the latest software version.

Therefore, to apply firmware 3.35, save the downloadable .pup file onto a formatted Vita card, power off the PS Vita, and insert the memory card into the portable console.

Now, turn the device on, wait for the new software to be recognized, and then carefully follow each on-screen instruction as the console will automatically guide you through the update process.

When it comes to PS TV systems, you can either use the PS Vita card prepared before and follow the aforementioned steps, or a USB update drive containing the same .pup file.

That being said, if a USB stick is desired, create a “PSVITA/UPDATE” path on it, transfer the update file into the last directory, turn off the system, and then press and hold the power button for at least 7 seconds so that the PS TV can enter safe mode.

Now connect a controller and press the PS button, go to Update System Software> Update from USB Storage Device, connect the USB storage, and follow the displayed instructions.

With this in mind, download Sony PlayStation Vita / PlayStation TV Firmware 3.35, apply the latest system software, and constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
