Just now, Olympus has made available a new firmware update developed for its E-P5 digital camera, namely version 1.3, which adds support for several new features to its Image Share smartphone application.

Specifically speaking, the new release makes the app compatible with continuous and live bulb shooting and gives it the ability to adjust P/A/S/M and shooting settings such as shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation, ISO, and white balance.

As for installing this fresh build, get the downloadable package (available for both Mac and Windows platforms), make sure your computer has access to the Internet (preferably from a wired connection), remove the memory card from the camera, and run the downloaded file.

Now connect the E-P5 to the computer through a USB cable, click next, wait for the updater to find the 1.3 firmware for your camera, and press the “Update” button when the latest version is found.

Select the “Ok” button, then “Agree” to confirm the upgrade process, and wait for the firmware to be transferred and applied to the E-P5 device.

When the installation is completed, the camera will show an “Ok” message on its display. At this point you must click “Next” and “Close” to exit the updater, and then remove the USB from the E-P5 unit.

That being said, download Olympus E-P5 Digital Camera Firmware 1.3 for either Windows or Mac platforms depending on your system’s OS, take into account all the above-mentioned aspects, apply the new firmware, and stay “update one minute ago.”
