OUYA has just announced the availability of a new firmware update package targeted at its gaming console, namely version 1.2.1378, which is basically a hotfix that applies to the previous OUYA 1.2.1353 Chickcharney Firmware release.

To come clear about the changes, this version resolves an issue that prevented crash reports from arriving to some developers, fixes the wonky behavior spotted with tile icons, and removes a bug that might have led to tiles being misaligned.

In addition to that, applying this release will resolve a few problems spotted when navigating DISCOVER for a longer period of time, and fixes the “BUY” button so that it doesn’t have problems displaying anymore.

Last but not least, through version 1.2.1378, OUYA also managed to resolve an error that led to bundles being described with an incorrect price for foreign currencies. However, when the purchase was made, the correct price was applied.

When it comes to applying this version, make sure you perform this step in a steady power environment, such as the one ensured by a UPS unit, so that no related problems are encountered. If the device suffers an update failure, this event might cause it to malfunction.

Therefore, download OUYA Game Console Firmware 1.2.1378, carefully apply it on your device, and enjoy the changes that this new release brings about.
