Nikon has outed firmware version 1.1 developed for its COOLPIX P7100 digital camera, which consists of two download records compatible with the MAC platforms, as well as with both bit-variants of all of Microsoft’s Windows operating systems.

This release fixes an issue with the playback zoom (Rotate tall set to On) applied to played back images captured or recorded in vertical orientation (Record orientation set to Auto), which made some operations display photos irregularly or not rotate them along with the camera.

In addition, it resolves the problem with rotary multi-selector that, when used to display images from the available memory (containing both images and videos), seemed to stick and show only images.

Moreover, the new firmware fixes the issue with the autofocus not functioning when shooting with self-timer and Auto bracketing under certain settings, and with the noise that occurred with taking photos under various image quality or self-timer settings.

Now that you have taken into account all the changes made through this release, from the links below, select the one that best describes your operating system, update your COOLPIX, and get rid of those problems.
