The new release improves camera operability manual focus

Just now, Nikon has announced the availability of two new firmware updates developed for its D750 and COOLPIX P610 cameras, namely version 1.02 and 1.1, respectively, which include a few useful improvements.

Specifically speaking, the D750 unit now benefits from a more reliable camera operability, while Nikon’s COOLPIX P610 model receives fixes for an issue that caused manual focus position to change with each shot when taking pictures using interval timer.

In addition to that, for the P610 camera, firmware 1.1 also resolves the rare event where the device freezes or images wouldn’t be displayed or saved properly. This phenomenon was rarely encountered when switching between monitor and electronic viewfinder using the eye sensor.

Considering these aforementioned changes, if you intend to upgrade your camera, first of all save and run the appropriate package for your camera model and computer OS (available for both Windows and Mac OS platforms), and format a memory card using your imaging device.

Afterwards, transfer the .bin file (or “firmware” folder for COOLPIX P610) onto the formatted card, insert it into your camera while it’s turned off, and power the unit on. Afterwards, simply go to the Firmware Version section and follow all instructions displayed.

Last but not least, once the new version has been applied, you should also check your camera’s currently installed firmware in order to make sure the process has been successful.

That being told, download Nikon D750 Camera Firmware C:1.02 or download Nikon COOLPIX P610 Camera Firmware 1.1, apply it on your device, and enjoy the changes that these new releases bring about.
