Nikon D4 DSLR camera just got a new firmware update. Version A 1.03 and B 1.02 will get your camera up-to-date and fix a previously unresolved issue.

The new software version claims to fix the focus accuracy when using a lens and teleconverter with a combined maximum aperture of f/8.

Nikon also mentions that the firmware can't be updated when Network> Network connection in the Setup menu is set to ON, so be sure to turn it off beforehand. Also, Nikon recommends having a fully charged battery when performing the update.

Since the last firmware update, users have complained about the video sharpness while recording at full frame, but it seems like Nikon couldn't fix all the issues at once. We'll just have to wait and see what the future will bring.

Until then, we leave you with the download links to the firmware, so you can stay “updated one minute ago.”
