NVIDIA has released the Quadro/Tesla Desktop Graphics Driver version 311.25 Beta, which is compatible with Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, and 8 OSes, and with both bit versions.

Moreover, this package brings improved performance over the previous driver versions, workstation compatibility resolved issues, as well as improved performance in SolidWorks 2013

The NVIDIA AutoCAD Performance driver isn’t integrated in this release, although it could be downloaded as standalone package, and Quadro SDI products aren’t supported when Windows 8 is used.

You should know that, before you begin, NVIDIA recommends that you uninstall nTune, and make sure that SLI Mosaic Mode is disabled so as no improper installation takes place. After the upgrade process is finished, you can come back to the original configuration.

Also, bear in mind that, because it’s a beta driver, NVIDIA provides this package release “AS IS” and it could not be held responsible of any possible damage.
