A few moments ago, NVIDIA announced the availability of its 341.61 Quadro Graphics driver for the R340 branch, which will be the last update targeted at the producer’s GT2xx, G8x, and G9x GPUs.

In terms of changes, version 341.61 resolves the Creo3 application crashes encountered when rendering high-resolution images on a Quadro K5000 card.

In addition to that, OpenGL hardware acceleration for Windows Remote Desktop now works well on Quadro 2000 system configurations running under Microsoft’s Windows Server 2008 64-bit platform.

When it comes to supported OSes, NVIDIA has provided one driver suitable for 64-bit variants of Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, and 2012 R2 platforms, and two files compatible with Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems (one for each bit variant).

Moreover, the producer has also rolled out two downloadable files developed for its SDI cards, which are only compatible with Windows Vista and 7, both 32- and 64-bit architectures.

However, bear in mind that, while desktop configurations support all aforementioned OSes, notebook-related packages aren’t compatible with any of the Windows Server platforms or Vista operating systems.

As for the valid GPUs, it would be a good idea to check the description page of each download, as all supported cards are highlighted.

Last but not least, if you intend to apply this update on your device, don’t forget to perform a restart afterwards in order to allow all changes to take effect properly.

That being said, download NVIDIA Quadro Graphics Driver 341.61, install it, and constantly check our website to find out when a newer version is available.
