NVIDIA has released its most recent driver, version 314.07 from the Release 313 family, and it’s the GeForce Game Ready driver for Crysis 3. The single GPU and SLI performances in this game are increased by up to 5% and 65%, respectively.
But that isn’t the only game that has its performance increased. Games like Assassin's Creed III, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and Far Cry 3 have also been improved.
This release is compatible with all of Microsoft’s operating systems starting with Windows XP, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
The PhysX System Software version 9.12.1031 is installed along with the release, and it won’t make Unreal Tournament III, Trine, or Metro 2033 not launch.
Also, in-game antialiasing can now be set to MLAA in Human Revolution without seeing grainy texture object; color corruption in Grass Valley EDIUS is now history; Assassin’s Creed III will not crash anymore; and The Last Remnant launches properly, without a black screen.
If you have considered updating, you should keep in mind that, before you begin, it is recommended to uninstall NVIDIA nTune and to make a restore point, so as to avoid incorrect installation or any data loss.
