NVIDIA has released a new Quadro/NVS/Tesla/GRID graphics version, namely 331.87 beta, which is compatible with Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems, and suitable for 64-bit desktop configurations only.

In addition to that, the producer has also made a new GRID vGPU package available, namely version 331.82 WHQL, which contains both the Windows graphics driver (same version), as well as the 331.24 GRID Virtual GPU Manager.

The Quadro release is only a test driver for the upcoming performance improvements scheduled to be brought through the next release, but because it’s a beta version, NVIDIA recommends using the Quadro Graphics Driver 331.82 WHQL.

On the other hand, the GRID package is compatible only with the Windows 7 platform, both bit variants, and it enables the virtual GPU, therefore providing shared hardware graphics acceleration for virtual machines running under Citrix XenServer 6.2.

That being said, go ahead and download NVIDIA GRID VGPU Graphics Driver 331.82 or download NVIDIA Quadro/NVS/Tesla/GRID Graphics Driver 331.87 Beta depending on your needs, and update your graphics chipset to the latest version.
