NVIDIA has outed its latest GeForce Graphics driver, version 314.14 Beta, which raises performance by up to 23% for the GeForce 400, 500 and 600 Series GPU compared to the previous 314.07 WHQL driver.

The driver is compatible with all of Microsoft’s operating systems starting with Windows XP, both 32- and 64-bit versions.

This new version fixes the display crash issue (that occurred while adjusting images in Microsoft Picture Gallery), and the poor interface performance with Blender application. Also, it resolves a bug with Max Payne 3, which allowed light sources to be visible through walls and other characters when MSAA was enabled.

Moreover, the package contains the installation files for the HD Audio Driver 1.3.23.1, and PhysX System Software 9.12.1031, version which will terminate the bug that caused Unreal Tournament III, Trine, and Metro 2033 not to launch.

Before you install the driver, NVIDIA recommends that you uninstall nTune, and back up your configuration, so that in case of problems you have the possibility to roll back to the original settings.
