NVIDIA outs its latest 311.35 WHQL Quadro/Tesla Graphics Driver of the Release 310 Family, which is compatible with both desktops and notebooks working under Microsoft’s OSes. As always, the new release version offers improved performance and compatibility fixes compared to previous drivers.

While the desktop packages are compatible with all of Microsoft’s Windows operating systems, the notebook-targeted drivers are suitable for Windows 7 and 8 (the Windows XP and Vista OSes are still covered by the 307.83 version).

As for fixes, the CPU will not crash when using the tessellation path while rolling Catia, and merging layers or scroll bar and tree contents are not corrupted when using Mari or Creo View, respectively, under the Quadro 4000 graphics card.

Moreover, Quadro’s 6000 GLSL break statement is fixed, and VoxelGeo’s Dense 3D grids isn’t rendering on Windows as slow as before compared to Linux operating system.

Additionally, the desktop-compatible driver adds support for the NVIDIA Quadro K4000, K2000, and K600 graphics cards compared to the notebook variants which stick with the same graphics cards support.

As always, for a successful installation, NVIDIA recommends that you uninstall nTune and disable SLI Mosaic mode (afterwards you can come back to the original configuration), and back up your current system settings so that nothing will be lost.

Now that you have assimilated all the aspects, follow the link below and choose the one that best describes your system and OS.
