We got used to NVIDIA's weekly releases, so this week it's a Far Cry 3 driver

The previous driver, 310.61 Beta, launched a week ago, was focused on improving Hitman: Absolution and Planetside 2 graphics.

Now, the GeForce 310.64 Beta driver gets launched just before the official Far Cry 3 release. As you'd expect, the new display driver is very much about improving performance in Far Cry 3 so, according to the release notes, installing this driver will boost up your gaming graphics by 38%.

Other popular games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Assassin's Creed III, Battlefield 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and StarCraft II get performance updates from 16% to 26%.

Installing the new beta driver, you will get version 9.12.1031 of NVIDIA PhysX System Software. This is like a bonus pack because the new PhysX software fixes the bug that caused Unreal Tournament III, Trine, and Metro 2033 not to launch.

Included in the driver package is the HD audio driver, version 1.3.18.0. Also, the new driver updates the Far Cry 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 SLI Profiles.

As usual, we provide the drivers, so that you can be “updated a minute ago.”
