As announced

, Microsoft has just outed the second July 2014 cumulative firmware and driver update package targeted at its Surface Pro 3 tablet, which installs newer versions of Surface Integration, bluetooth, and wireless files, improving the overall system stability, Wi-Fi strength, and throughput scenarios.

Specifically speaking, this release contains the 2.0.1038.0 Surface Integration, as well as version 15.68.3044.85 of Marvell’s AVASTAR bluetooth radio adapter and AVASTAR wireless-AC network controller.

With this in mind, if you intend to upgrade your Surface Pro 3 to this release, you should know that the tablet updates that are provided through the producer’s Windows Update service are delivered to users in stages.

This means that all targeted units will receive the present update, but not all at the same time. Therefore, if you either didn’t get the second July 2014 package or simply want to apply it now, then you should get the downloadable archive and install it manually.

Since the updates are cumulative, the package also includes the first July 2014 changes, such as the .38.2.50.0 Embedded Controller and System Aggregator firmware that reduced power consumption, improved battery life, and enhanced efficiency and reliability.

That being said, download Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Tablet Firmware/Driver 16 July 2014, apply it on your tablet, and constantly check with our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
