Just now, Microsoft has rolled out the May firmware and drivers pack targeted at its newly-release Surface 3 tablets, which requires the device to be powered by the producer’s Windows 8.1 operating system in order to be properly applied.

This new release is the initial firmware that Microsoft’s Surface 3 Tablet goes on sale with, and installs SAM, Touch, and UEFI versions 1.0.33500.0, 4.25.60.0, and 1.50410.78.0, respectively.

In addition to that, it also contains all required drivers, such as Surface Cover, Home Button, graphics, Ethernet, Wireless, camera, and several other that are detailed in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to installation, the May update can be applied either automatically via the Windows Update service, or by manually downloading and installing this release.

In order to be clear, through Windows Update service the new releases are provided in stages to all customers, therefore you might not receive the May firmware and drivers pack right now. However, all Surface tablets will get this update.

On the other hand, if you are anxious about this release and want it now, simply save the downloadable archive, and apply it on your Surface tablet.

Therefore, download Microsoft Surface 3 Tablet Firmware/Driver May 2015, apply it, and don’t forget to constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
