Version 3.0.0.4.374.720 adds many new features, so a reset is needed after the update

ASUS has just released a new firmware for its RT-N66U version B1 wireless router. Update 3.0.0.4.374.720 adds many new features, and the manufacturer recommends resetting the device (press the reset button for more than 5 seconds) after the upgrade is complete.

With this release, ASUS introduces AiCloud 2.0, which features a new web interface, support for video subtitles, a mobile version interface, and router to router sync.

Other additions are Dual WAN, PPTP VPN server status GUI, a Disk scan feature, and support for Sandisk Cruzer flash drive with both CD-ROM and flash disk interface.

The fixes list counts 19 titles which can be viewed at the link below. The highlights of this list include USB application update related issues, traffic monitor related problems when using 3G/4G dongle as WAN, IE related parental control misbehavior, and AiCloud vulnerability related bugs.
