The MSI 990FXA-GD80 motherboard, an AM3+ based socket, combined with the latest AMD FX-8350 Vishera processor, managed to successfully run at 8370.93 MHz, currently holding the 5th place in the world for highest CPU frequency ranking.

The current world record is held by AndreYangs from Taiwan, with an astonishing 8670.22 MHz CPU speed, using an Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z Motherboard combined with the same AMD FX-8350 processor.

The motherboard has drivers for all of Microsoft's operating systems and, from these, two large files stand out: one for Windows XP, and the other for Windows Vista and Windows 7.

These two files install all the AMD drivers for the board, like the Graphics, High-Definition Audio, Advanced Host Controller Interface (AHCI) and other drivers.

It also has support for other drivers that are not AMD based, like Realtek Ethernet and HD Audio drivers, and Renesas USB 3.0 driver.
