Logitech has made available a new firmware package targeted at its T650 wireless rechargeable touchpad, namely version 041.001.00038, which is compatible with both bit architectures of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8 operating systems.

When it comes to changes, the newly released update will enable out-of-the-box gestures, such as single and double tap to click and double click, respectively, 2-finger tap to right click, and 3-finger tap to middle click.

In addition to that, the one-finger tap to right-click (when the tap is on the right-bottom corner), and the one-finger tap & hold for left-click and drag gestures, as well as the disable option (through the mechanical click), will be also recognized from the first use.

As for applying the firmware, simply get the downloadable package, make sure the T650 has a fully charged battery (or install a fresh one), run the “RQM_041_001_00038.exe” file, and follow the on-screen instructions.

That being said, if you consider installing this latest version, download Firmware 041.001.00038 for Logitech T650 Touchpad, take into account all said aspects, apply it, and enjoy your newly updated wireless touch device.
