The new release might be Leshcat’s best update yet

Well known for its AMD + Intel releases, Leshcat has now made available its latest Catalyst 14.12 Omega WHQL UnifL v1.0 with the help of a huge number of testers, to which the producer gives special thanks.

When it comes to changes, this new update enables experimental Intel installation support for Windows 10, unlocks CCC profiles, and adds Certificate Store status check to resolve some UnifL driver installation issues.

In addition to that, all AMD graphics cards now have the “KMD_EnableCrossGpuDisplaySupport” parameter enabled by default, a change which should fix the black screen problem when using display sharing or Teamviewer, as well as various HDMI bugs.

Moreover, “EnableUlps” has been set to 0 for AMD cards so that it can resolve the Delayed Startup and BSODS issue on many laptops, and “AllowDeepCStates” has been disabled by default for Intel Iris/Haswell-powered systems in order to improve overall stability.

Beside the countless testers, Leshcat wants to give a special thanks to LeekM for the DX9 performance fix, as well as to Knightro and NBR Virgincola for adding Samsung brightness control/standby FTC value fix, without which the developer wouldn’t have updated USB (UnifL Brightness Resolver) to 7.5.

One more thanks that Leshcat pays goes to Castro27, the user who found a Microsoft fix that resolves standby, wakeup, and shutdown issues on a variety of Dell, Acer, HP, and several other notebooks.

That being said, download Leshcat AMD Catalyst Omega UnifL Driver 14.12 v1.0, apply it on your system, and perform a reboot upon completion. Also, make sure to click the “Release Notes” button below to view the complete list of changes.
