Intel has just made available a new Iris and HD graphics package compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems, namely version 10.18.10.3652 beta, which is developed for its Celeron, Pentium, and 4th-generation Core processors.

Specifically speaking, the new update can be applied on systems containing a 4th-gen Intel Core CPU that has embedded graphics chipsets, such as HD Graphics 4200, 4400, 4600, and 5000, Iris Graphics 5100, or Iris Pro Graphics 5200.

In addition to that, build 3652 beta is also compatible with specific Celeron and Pentium processor models highlighted on the description page, therefore make sure to check if your CPU is supported by this release.

When it comes to changes, this new driver allows users to play GRID Autosport over a second wireless connected display using Miracast, thus increasing the gaming experience.

As for the fixes, Intel’s release fixes the flickering spotted when resuming from hibernation, and the corruptions encountered while switching between Power Conservation settings and the New Windows User Interface screen – both problems affected only Windows 8.1 systems.

Despite these changes, this beta build still has some known issues remaining, namely the Control Panel not showing the correct DirectX version, Google Earth’s display corruptions, and some video-related problems when completing a hibernation or sleep cycle.

That being said, download Intel Iris/HD Graphics Driver 10.18.10.3652 Beta, apply the package, and enjoy your newly-improved graphics chipset. Also, constantly check with our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
