Intel has made available a new PROSet Wireless driver version, namely 16.10.0, which is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8 OSes, and only with the 64-bit build of Microsoft’s latest platform, Windows 8.1.

This fresh release consists of several download records for each compatible operating system and bit architecture. In addition to that, there are also separate packages that describe either a driver-only release or a drivers-with software file.

When it comes to changes, the producer doesn’t offer any release notes along with the new version, but it highlights the products that are compatible with this update.

To be clear, version 16.10.0 is targeted at Intel’s Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160, -AC 7260, and -AC 7260 for desktops, and it can also be applied on the producer’s Wireless-N 7260 and Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 units.

That being said, if you consider upgrading to this latest version, then download Intel PROSet Wireless Driver 16.10.0 for your compatible operating system, apply the package, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
