Just now, ASRock has rolled out a huge number of new BIOS versions targeted at several of its motherboards, which include DRAM and VGA card compatibility improvements, and add NVME support.

In addition to that, these new packages also update microcode, ME, EZ OC table, and VBIOS, and change the BFG function.

As for the compatible motherboards, since there are so many of them, it would be best to search for your model at the end of this article. Also, bear in mind that not all models benefit from all aforementioned changes (the changelog is displayed on each description page).

When it comes to installation, ASRock has provided 3 downloadable archives for each targeted boards, which are to be applied using different update methods: Instant Flash, DOS, and Windows.

To be clear, while Instant Flash download must be extracted onto a removable storage and executed from within the BIOS setup menu, the Windows package is to be unzipped and run from a Windows operating system.

Last but not least, the DOS package should be extracted and executed from a DOS prompt. Either way, upon completion, make sure to reboot your computer and load the default BIOS settings to be sure no problems will be encountered.

With this in mind, from the links below, click on the one that highlights your ASRock motherboard, download the proper file depending on your desired update method, and carefully apply it on your device.
