Today, HP has rolled out a new iLO 4 firmware update compatible with its ProLiant MicroServer Gen8, namely version 2.02, which fixes a problem with the firmware flash status that wasn’t displayed on the iLO webUI, as well as several others.

Specifically speaking, the new update adds the “Good, Partially in Use.” option to the DIMMs, includes several AMP modes for the RIBCL Get Embedded Health feature, and fixes the inlet air sensor that wasn’t shown on the temperature graph.

In addition to that, version 2.02 resolves several issues regarding the iLO RBSU behavior, such as improper checking for user privileges, using maximum 19 characters for user names, or providing the Transceiver Speed Autoselect incorrectly when using Shared Network Port mode.

You should also consider applying the present release if power supply mismatches aren’t detected, the HP RESTful API returns a 404 error when accessing path underneath bios, or the Remote Console crashes when mounting a 256+ bytes URL.

If you install this version, the power button will work in HP RESTful API, no improper message will be shown when changing the boot order, and the Remote Support will be able to detect an Uncorrectable memory error event.

Moreover, several fixes regarding IPMI Alert Immediate, Active Health System, Fan Blowout, Storage configuration, iLO webUI, as well as many others have been added. It would be best if you checked the description page of this download to view the full release notes.
