Just recently, Gigabyte released the Windows 8 drivers for their P2542G Notebook. In case “P2542G” doesn't ring a bell with you, read on for the key features of this device.

The laptop is powered by a 3rd generation Intel Core-i7 Quad-Core CPU revving at 3.3GHz, that supports Turbo Boost Technology. This being said, you can enjoy some of the most demanding games out there on it.

Another key feature is the 15.6” LED backlight Full HD display. It comes with Intel HD Graphics 4000 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M display adapters. All of these are backed up by the new graphics drivers (with the download links provided below).

Judging by the users’ reviews on the laptop, it is a very appreciated device. Many compare it to the 15” Macbook Pro, stating that it’s better in every way.

Even though the Macbook tech sheet mentions it has the Retina Display and almost half the weight of the Gigabyte notebook, users tend to enjoy the latter more; chances are the price tag is what weighs heavier in the balance.

Here are the download links to the drivers so you can stay “updated one minute ago.”
