NVIDIA has just launched the latest Game Ready WHQL driver for its GeForce graphics adapters. Version 331.82 starts its release notes by mentioning a performance improvement of up to 50% in Metro: Last Light.

Although the abovementioned title gets an impressive performance boost, this version is said to offer the best gaming experience in Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag and Need for Speed: Rivals.

Other games that benefit from this update are Crysis 3 and Battlefield 4, which get performance gains of up to 26% and 18%, respectively.

SLI profiles for Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag and Natural Selection are updated, and a new one is added for Path of Exile.

The gaming technology is also improved by the new GeForce ShadowPlay and the addition of TXAA support for Call of Duty: Ghosts.

By downloading the NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 331.82 and running the executable, you will install display driver version 9.18.13.3182, PhysX System Software 9.13.0725, HD Audio 1.3.26.4, and Geforce Experience 1.7.1 (9.3.21.0).

On top of that, you will get support for applications built using CUDA version 5.5 or earlier of the CUDA Toolkit, OpenGL 4.3 for GeForce 400-series and later GPUs and DisplayPort 1.2 for GeForce GTX 600 series GPUs.
