Update your computer's audio capabilities with the latest codec

Well, it's nice to see how mid-December brings new audio drivers from Realtek. These audio codecs have now reached version 2.67 and are accompanied by the ATI HDMI audio driver, as usual.

Like most new versions of the Realtek drivers, the change log is rather boring, as it lists the chipsets supported by said software. We're just going to mention that the ALC280 chipset was added to the list; if you're interested, check out the whole list in the changelog displayed on the download page.

The Realtek 2.67 audio driver comes with the Microsoft High Definition Audio UAAV1.0a integrated driver for Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP1, XP SP2, Server 2003 SP1. Aside from numerous (and often unnamed) customizations Realtek include in each release, there's nothing we can mention any further.

If you own a computer with an on-board Realtek audio chip and are looking for the latest drivers, all you have to do is download the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver 2.67 from Softpedia, free, fast and free of malware.
