It's with great pleasure that we announce our readers that the downloads for Nvidia's latest display driver, the GeForce 301.24 Beta are up and running.

This beta version carries on with the improvements present in the R300 driver generation, while offering support for the GTX 680 GPU, seemingly the fastest and most energy-efficient graphics processor to date.

Performance increase with TX 570/ 580 and GTX 560/ 560 Ti cards varies between modest 4% estimations and a whopping 23 percent (Just Cause 2 with SLI), when compared to what the former drivers (version 296.10) deliver.

The FXAA technology looks more and more like a most welcome substitution for the MSAA (Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing) and delivers substantially better performance and speeds up to 60% greater with a lot of gaming titles. The FXAA feature is disabled when running games with built-in support for this technology.

Other handy features, such as better Surround Technology, Frame Rate Target, or the Adaptive Vertical Sync, ensure a smoother gaming experience with more visual and acoustic details, while other functional updates will help you enjoy your multi-display systems even more, with added convenience and easier access.

New SLI and 3D Vision profiles have been added, and users can check detailed information on the download pages.
