The most recent firmware that ARCHOS has released is the 20130130.111032 version, and it is targeted at its 97 Titanium HD Tablet that was unveiled earlier this year.

The update will improve wireless LAN connection for devices that show low sensitivity, and it will also contain all previous updates.

Behind the tablet’s 9.7-inch HD touch screen, capable of 10-point capacitive multi touch, stands an Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system, a dual-core A9 1.6GHz CPU, and a quad-core Mali 400 MP4 GPU.

So, if you consider updating the firmware, the process is quite easy. Simply connect the ARCHOS Tablet with your computer through a USB cable, copy the “update.zip” file to the root folder of the internal storage, and unplug the device from the computer.

Afterwards, the tablet will automatically find the update, and it will display a message box, thereby providing the possibility to install the new firmware.

Bear in mind that, before you tap install, connecting the charger to your device is highly recommended so as to avoid any problems with the battery power; otherwise, if the process crashes, your device may not work properly thereafter.

This said, follow the link below and update your tablet’s firmware to the latest version.
