Here's another nice piece of news: Intel releases new versions of display drivers for some of their many motherboards.
Like with almost all driver updates that deal with the GMA (Graphics Media Accelerator), you can never have enough. And that's because the integrated graphics chipsets are constantly getting their power and features developed and that's good when you're thinking about multimedia.
Lately, the Intel integrated graphics chipsets have become able to run HD/ FullHD media content thanks to all the tehcnological advances made in either chip architecture and in driver implementation.
And taking a step even further from desktop systems, just think about all the ultrabooks out there whose graphics capabilities rely solely on how powerful the embedded Intel GMA is chip and how well the drivers will perform.
The new drivers come as version 126.96.36.19998 for XP, and 188.8.131.5239 for Windows 7 and Vista. They address the following boards:
Intel Desktop Board DB75EN
Intel Desktop Board DH77DF
Intel Desktop Board DH77EB
Intel Desktop Board DH77KC
Intel Desktop Board DZ77BH-55K
Intel Desktop Board DZ77GA-70K
Intel Desktop Board DZ77SL-50K
