Three new Asrock motherboards surfaced these days, making the Atom-bundled family expand its ranks. We're talking about the AD2500B-ITX, AD2700-ITX and AD2700B-ITX: these boards gather all Asrock's latest technology and software in a small package, now offering more power and multimedia capabilities.

The boards come with either Intel D2500 or D2700 CPUs, according to their names. All three sport a fanless design and bring the promise of quiet computing. The AD2700-ITX is the only one with a Realtek sound chip (and THX TruStudio technology); the other two are powered by VIA.

When it comes to HD playback, the AD2700-ITX is the only one supporting 1080p and having DVI and HDMI ports. It is loaded with a built-in Intel PowerVR SGX545, DirectX 9.0, Pixel Shader 3.0 graphics board and this makes it the best of the three.

While all three boards come with 2 SO-DIMM slots, only the 2700 series offer USB 3.0 connectivity via the 2 blue ports; the 2500 series has only 2.0 USB. Asrock's proprietary technologies XFast USB and XFast LAN are also present in these new boards.
