When it comes to the Prestige line-up, this notebook series includes the PE70 2QD, PE70 2QE, PE60 2QD, and PE60 2QD device models, which are compatible with Microsoft’s 64-bit variants of Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems (and so are their drivers).
As for the available packages, Intel develops the products’ ME (Management Engine), Rapid Storage (RST), and Chipset files, and enables their connection technologies, such as Bluetooth, USB 3.0, and Wireless features.
In addition to that, along with NVIDIA, Intel also took care of the graphics chipset and video card through appropriate drivers.
Moreover, MSI also provides its devices with their first BIOS package that might come in handy if future versions turn up faulty, audio and card reader drivers from Realtek, Ethernet files from BigFoot, as well as a touchpad package developed by Synaptics.
Still, bear in mind that even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we don’t recommend installing these downloadable drivers on platforms other than aforementioned ones.
