AMD has released a recent beta version for the Radeon HD AGP, 2000, 3000 and 4000 series graphics cards. This update fixes a driver crash in Company of Heroes 2.

Users report that, although the mentioned issue has been fixed, there are still plenty of bugs to be repaired.

For example, an AMD Radeon HD 4870 user reported a clocking problem which keeps his second GPU at maximum frequency and voltage, leading to unnecessary power consumption and high temperature.

He also reports that the Camera app does not work and he cannot play any videos. A 3DMark bug is reported as well while using the cloud gate benchmark.

In some cases, it pops a DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HANG error that crashes the driver with it.

Below is the link to the driver. Download, install and stay “updated one minute ago.”

Don't forget that it is a beta version, so errors or crashes may occur. If you encounter any problems, report to AMD for future, better drivers.
