Just now, Dovado has announced the availability of its 7.3.8 firmware version suitable for GO, DOMA, and Tiny routers, as well as its 8.1.1 update that is compatible with Tiny AC and Pro devices.

When it comes to changes, these two new versions only include support for a new 3G USB modem, namely ZTE MF667. Hopefully, the releases contain small changes and improvements, but in order to be sure, you have to upgrade the router to find out for yourself.

To do so, first of all, you should know that Dovado has provided 3 different update packages that, in the end, perform the same task.

Specifically speaking, you can choose from a Mac OS and Windows installation package that is basically an automatic firmware update utility suitable for appropriate operating systems. Simply save the file, run the available setup, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen.

On the other hand, if a manual method is desired, download the Firmware-only archive, extract it, and log into your router’s web interface (username and password must be required).

Afterwards, go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade, locate and select the newly-unzipped .bin file, hit “Start HTTP Upgrade” option, and allow the device to do its job ( firmware should be applied in about 3 minutes).

With this in mind, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your device model, download the appropriate file according to your desired update method, and constantly check our website in order to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
