This release adds support for D-Link DWM-221 4G LTE adapter

Dovado has rolled out a new firmware developed for its DOMA, GO, Pro, and Tiny wireless routers, namely version 7.3.4, which adds support for D-Link’s DWM-221 4G LTE USB adapter, as well as for ZTE’s Virgin MF90C 4G WiFi modem.

Besides extending the compatibility list, Dovado has also managed to resolve a traffic counter issue affecting Huawei Hi-Link modems, and a specific problem regarding Tellstick and learning wallplug house-codes.

Therefore, if you intend to make use of these changes, then save and unzip the downloadable archive specifically designed for your router model, log into your device’s administration page, and go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade section.

From there, click on “Browse,” navigate and select the newly-extracted .bin file (firmware file), select “Start HTTP Upgrade,” and patiently wait for your router to do its job: the firmware update process takes around 3 minutes to complete.

Bear in mind that during the installation, you mustn’t close the router’s web interface, make use of any of its buttons, or terminate the connection between your computer and wireless unit. Doing so might lead to an update failure, and if encountered, it could cause serious malfunctions.

In other words, download Dovado Router Firmware 7.3.4 for your specific product, carefully apply the new version on your device, and enjoy your newly-improved wireless unit.
