14 DAY TRIAL // Today, Creative launches a new driver version targeted at the Sound Blaster Z, Zx, as well as ZxR sound cards. The 1.00.16 package consists of two files: one compatible with the ZxR audio device, and one developed for the Z and Zx sound cards.
Both download records bring multiple fixes that will improve the overall stability and performance of the cards. In addition to the Sound Blaster ZxR card, the Z and Zx benefit from the support that is added for the ASIO playback feature.
The files are compatible only with Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8 operating systems, both bit versions, and installing the driver isn’t hard at all – just download the file, run it, and follow the on-screen instructions (it requires a system restart though).
