The available drivers are compatible with both bit versions all of Microsoft Windows OSes

Canon has just released two new imageRUNNER ADVANCE multifunction printers, namely the 500iF and the 400iF devices, not long after the release of the C7200 and C9200 PRO MFP Series.

Most of the available drivers are compatible with both 32- and 64-bit version of all of Microsoft’s Windows operating systems, including the Server 2003, 2008, and 2012 (only for the x64) platforms.

The packages consist of the PS3 (PostScript 3), and the PCL5e, PCL5c, and PCL6 printer command languages, each having available an INF file, as well as an actual driver.

The exceptions would be for the UFR II package (Ultra Fast Rendering II) that is developed to work only under 64-bit platforms, and for the PPD driver (PostScript Printer Description) that is compatible only with Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, and 7 OSes.

That being said, follow one of the links below, and download all the drivers needed that best describe your OS and bit version.
