Canon has just rolled out new firmware packages targeted at some of its imagePROGRAF imaging units, namely version 1.10 compatible with the iPF760 and iPF765 MFPs, as well as version 1.38 developed for the iPF650, iPF655, iPF750, and iPF755 devices.

When it comes to changes, this new release improves the HP-GL/2 print function by optimizing its priority (enhances network response), and fixing its printing failures due to data dividing and combining, or the situations where large amount of linear data is involved.

In addition to that, the compatible devices won’t fail to finish the job when sending data without end indicator in HP-GL/2, the transparent layer JP-GL/2 has been improved, and the behavior of the “Memory overflow” notification error has been changed.

Moreover, the issue where the printer would restart when accessed through RemoteUI or IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) has been resolved, the panel display errors have been fixed, and the mediation function will be accessible even when using accounting in status monitor.

As for applying these updated, the installation process requires you to install the latest version of Canon Firmware Update Tool. Therefore, if it's not already present on your system, get and install the appropriate package for your OS configuration.

Now, the last thing you need is the firmware file. Therefore, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your printer model, save the latest update for your device, and apply it using the update tool.
