The new updates consist of separate download packages compatible with a specific SKU only

ASUS has outed several firmware packages targeted at some of its mobile tablets, which consist of separate download records compatible with only a specific stock-keeping unit (so make sure you choose wisely).

Specifically speaking, the producer has updated its MeMO Pad FHD 10, PadFone, and The New Transformer Pad mobile tablets through firmware version 4.7.2, 10.5.1.4, and 10.14.1.45, respectively.

For these devices, ASUS didn’t provide any changelog whatsoever, therefore I can only assume that if installed, the new firmware packages might add workarounds that improve the tablets’ overall performance and stability.

However, the new PadFone Infinity has been also updated through firmware version 10.12.3.94, and this release improves the PadFone’s station stability, the wireless connection performance, and the web browser.

In addition to that, the camera has been optimized, the eMail features have been enhanced, and the SuperNote performance, input methods, and alarm clock features have been improved.

As for applying any of these newly released packages, check to see your mobile tablet’s currently installed firmware, and from the build number, make sure you remember the SKU (it consists of the letters before the first underscore line).

Moreover, if the current version is the same with the latest one, or even newer, then no further action is needed. The upgrade process isn’t capable of installing an older firmware or an SKU other than the one already installed.

Therefore, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your ASUS device, and from the list, click on the one that matches your tablet’s SKU.
