The newly released versions should improve the devices’ overall performance and stability

ASUS has just unveiled its latest firmware packages, namely versions 4.6.1 and 10.6.9.32 developed for its MeMO Pad FHD 10 and PadFone Infinity mobile tablets, which should improve the overall performance and stability of the devices.

While the PadFone Infinity benefits from a changelog which specifies that its related package improves security, stability and performance, the MeMO Pad FHD 10 doesn’t have any release note. However, I can assume that, if updated, its performance might be enhanced.

An important aspect that I am sure about is that the release consists of separate download records compatible with a specific SKU (Stock-Keeping Unit). Therefore, if you consider upgrading your device, make sure you know its SKU.

To find it out, go to Settings → About PadFone (or About Tablet for the MeMO Pad) → Build Number, and from there you should be able to read the SKU – it consists of the letters before the first underscore line.

In addition to that, a good idea before any version upgrade, is to back up the configurations and important files so that no data loss is encountered. These files aren’t intended to be destructive, however, it’s better to be on the safe side.

Now, from the links below, click on the one that best describes your mobile tablet, and afterwards, select the one that specifies your SKU from the available ones.
