14 DAY TRIAL // ASUS has just made available a new firmware package targeted at two of its top wireless routers, namely version 376.2769 compatible with the RT-AC87U and RT-AC87R devices, which fixes the LAN connection drop issue spotted on EU models.
In addition to that, the new version resolves the network looping problems encountered when several Sonos speakers are connected to the router via cable, and also improves the GUI string and browser compatibility.
Last but not least, ASUS’ release adjusts and improves the priority setting GUI in Adaptive QoS bandwidth monitor, and increases the QoS monitor app’s icons.
As for installing the 376.2769, just save and unzip the appropriate package for your router model, connect the device to the computer through an Ethernet cable (wireless technology tends to drop randomly), and log into the unit’s administration page.
