ASUS’ PadFone Infinity mobile tablet can now be updated through the latest firmware the producer has released, namely version 10.6.9.33, but you should keep your eyes open when it comes to the SKU.

As ASUS highlights, the new version improves the device’s security, enhances the system’s overall stability and performance, and adds some modifications following the users’ feedback.

However, you should be careful when it comes to the firmware’s SKU version. The upgrade process isn’t capable of switching between SKUs; therefore, you must apply the same stock-keeping unit that is already installed on your system.

Just to clear things up, go Settings → About PadFone → Build Number, and from there you can read the SKU – if the build number is “WW_PadFone-10.X.X.X” or similar, then your tablet’s stock keeping unit will be “WW.”

That being said, follow the link below, download the proper SKU-related firmware, and update your PadFone Infinity.
